New technologies have blurred the lines between self-learning and formal education. On one hand, learning through technologies, inside and outside the classroom, has become an almost indispensable premise for education. On the other hand, the STEAM educational system -which stands for the fusion between science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics- announces the end of disciplinary barriers. STEAM proposes the practice of transversal and integrating knowledge that goes beyond technological specialization and requires a practice by projects. In this context, what consequences do these changes have on the care of children? Are the audiovisual content platforms the new schools? Is transversality really encouraged? This block questions the new models of education and learning that are being derived from digital transformation.
