Linked to science and engineering, but vitally close to creative praxis and research in culture, Irma Vilà i Odena participates in international hybrid research projects in science, culture and curating, such as "The Atlas of the electromagnetic space" and "A chronology of the utopias of the radio spectrum ", presented at different festivals and museums around the world. She's a co-founder of the ZZZINC cultural innovation laboratory and takes part very actively in the Catalan creative fabric, collaborating with collectives and institutions such as Luthiers Drapaires, Telenoika or the CCCB. She has been curator in various exhibitions and activities at the Espai Laboratori de l'Arts Santa Mònica and the ArtFutura festival, among others. She's currently a professor at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) of the Degree in Multimedia, the Degree in Digital Design and Creation and the Degree in Arts. In addition, she's the director of Mosaic magazine and executive co-director of Artnodes magazine, of art, science and technology. She's also a member of the DARTS research group.
