PhD in Psychology from Ramon Llull University, mention of European Doctorate (2003) and Bachelor of Psychopedagogy.She has been a professor at the Ramon Llull University and Universidad Internacional de Cataluña. She is currently a professor of the Master's Degree in Psychopedagogy and of the Master's Degree in Secondary Education and Baccalaureate teaching at Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC). Her main line of research is the study of the elements that contribute to teaching and learning in virtual environments and specifically educational aids to promote learning, such as feedback in writing processes. She has directed and participated in different research projects and is participating in the coordination of the EdOnline Research Group. She has made several stays at the universities of Nebraska, Kentucky, Helsinki and Ghent. She has been Visiting Fellow at the Center for Learning Sciences and Technologies of the Open University of the Netherlands (2011-2012).
